World famous skiing, about 1.5 hours from Westcliffe.

Swim in Hot Springs Pool
Hot springs feed this swimming pool with water perpetually near 100 degrees. It feels like swimming in an enourmous bathtub!

World Class Mountain Climbing
The Wet Mountain Valley has 4 or 5 World Class climbing peaks. If you are an experienced climber, you'll have a great time. If you are not so experienced but want to climb, be sure to work with a good outfitter and a guide.

Catch Fish in over 100 lakes within 50 miles of Westcliffe
Lake de Weese has great fishing and Grape Creek offers the angler some nice catches. Lake de Weese has a boat ramp, if you wish to bring your own boat. Jet skiing and water skiing is permitted, but bring your own equipment. At this time no rental equipment is available.
